Mary talks with John Lyons about the very first An Coinneal and his own memories of the various publications down through the years. John is the outgoing Editor of An Coinneal 2021.
An Coinneal is Louisburgh Parish magazine, the oldest parish magazine in Ireland since 1959. It has published both Irish & English language articles over the years. It was the brainchild of Fr. Leo Morahan and the Louisburgh Muintir na Tire and is an extremely valuable source of information about our locality since 1959.
