14th August 2022- Mass of Remembrance in St. Patricks Church Louisburgh
A Mass of thanksgiving for all will be celebrated at 11.30am on Sunday 14th August 2022, in memory of all contributors or subscribers to the Parish magazine An Coinneal.
A plaque designed by Pat Kitterick, local Stone Mason, will be unveiled immediately after mass in Louisburgh Parish Hall in appreciation of all our community. Everyone is welcome to attend this historic occasion.
A number of past issues of An Coinneal will be available for sale during the celebrations in the Parish Hall.
An Coinneal was founded in 1959 by Fr. Leo Morahan & Muintir na Tire committee and continued by the out going editor John Lyons & a team of dedicated volunteers. The current An Coinneal committee have decided to cease operating the publication in its current form. More information will be available on Sunday 14th August in the Parish Hall.
Thanks to your generous donations, we have made a selection of past issues available digitally here on our website. We will continue to digitalise past issues to share with you.
