My mother was Bridie Kane, daughter of the Patrick Kane and Bridget McNamara suggested as possibly the people in the photo. Those people are not my grandparents nor do I recognize any of them. I have failed completely in tracing my grandfather’s origins beyond the fact that his father was also Patrick Keane (Kane) and he was born in Calla, a Louisburgh townland adjacent to Bunowen where my mother was born and where I have a house. Any information on the Keane’s of Bunowen and Calla appreciated.
