Many thanks to Anita Hawkes for providing so many wonderful photographs. Her mother Nora Hawkes nee Duggan came from Louisburgh and Nora’s brother Tommy owned the Clew Bay hotel on Chapel street in the 1960’s.
We also wish Nora a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY as 2020 is her 100th year. She is a very inspiring lady who has made many positive changes in education and life in her adopted home in Limerick.
If anyone has any other photographs of the Hotel on Chapel street or any memories of the Duggan Family we would really love to hear from you.
